UVic Women’s Studies Equity & Outreach Committee says…

We have organized this event to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the Morgentaler decision, the landmark case which finally acknowledged women’s legal right to reproductive choice in Canada. But we also want to take discussion around reproductive choice further: We want to examine and discuss what reproductive choice really means in Canada and around the world, legally, theoretically, and in practice. We want to move public discussion about reproductive choice away from the more popular pro-choice/anti-choice debate.

We would greatly appreciate your attendance at this event, even if you can only make it for one film. Please see the schedule below!

Pro-choice buttons, patches, and baked goods will be available for sale!
